Iwona: Character Design

This was a University assignment in which I had to design a character based off mythology, producing a full colour turnaround and storyboard.
I chose to look into Slavic (specifically polish) mythology and was fascinated by the concept of a volklolak, a creature akin to a werewolf. I consulted a polish friend of mine to ensure I was well researched and could create a culturally respectful character. I have grown very fond of this character!
Creating the storyboard was a large challenge as I had never done anything of the sort before. With great instruction from James Taylor and my lecturers I am happy with my first attempt at storyboarding.
