Historical Figures Brief

This was an incredibly opportunity in which I was commissioned to create a single page comic depicting the life of unsung hero and psychologist Dr Inez Beverly Prosser.
I was able to deep dive into the history and impact of this amazing woman and how her work and research in the harm segregated education causes eventually led to the abolishment of segregated schools.
It was an absolute honour to research and create this comic page to inform others of an incredible black historic figure. I struggled to condense her entire story into just a few panels but am incredibly proud of the work I have completed.
